All F3K pilots have tried it. A sudden massive sink, pilot error, or similar event forces the model to land far from where it was intended. So now the search begins to locate the model. To locate an F3K gilder in a large cornfield can be very difficult, if not close to impossible. But now it has become just a little easier. With the well proven TECHGIO BEC technology, you can now get a power full BEC, with controllable sounding for lost model situations.
F3K Buzzer mk4 – LOST MODEL BEC is designed to be compatible to all radio systems on the market. The Simply attach the regulator to any available channel on the receiver (for example the gear channel). Flip the servo signal to one side and the LOST MODEL feature becomes active. Flip it to the other side the LOST MODEL feature is deactivated again. The trigger point is the normal center position of the servo signal, so it is up to the user to program the channel on the transmitter so that the channel can toggle between the two extreme servo positions. It is recommended to program the failsafe of the receiver so that the LOST MODEL feature is active is case of an transmitter fault. The human ear is really good at detecting the direction of changing sounds, but not so much for a steady sound that bounces of other surfaces in the surroundings. Therefore is the LOST MODEL feature designed to beep 0,5s whenever active.

The power capabilities of the regulator are extremely high. The performance is only limited by the maximum temperature of the components. Due to the extremely small form-factor, there a physical limit to how much power the system can dissipate continuously (hours of operation). The precise value for the upper limit of continues current is dependent on the ambient temperature, cooling limitations in the fuselage, and battery voltage. Instead of making promises that is only true in a laboratory, we decided to implement a temperature warning system that will inform the user if he needs to consider a better mounting position or a bit of cooling air.
